INDIA gets her new President, Pranab Mukherjee. 

From the initial days of nomination of 2 candidates for the Designation, President of India; I somewhere felt Pranab Mukherjee had a better chance of winning. This thought of him winning was frankly because I knew more about him & his career than the other candidate, P. A. Sangma.

A few facts about Pranab Mukherjee I knew: 

1. He was a former Finance Minister. 

2. He was associated with Congress.

3. His alliance was UPA.

Pranab Mukherjee is the 13th President of India. Elections were held on 19th July 2012 & he was declared as India's President on 22nd July, 2012. 

As a responsible citizen of India, I would like to request Pranab Mukherjee to take this responsibility very seriously. Being a former Finance Minister, he knows the Economic condition of India & its people for REAL. As the President the one truth he should successfully abolish by indulging right steps is: 

"Rich Gets Richer & Poor Gets Poorer"

I don't really know how Pranab Mukherjee will serve as The President of India, but I truly hope, he does something better than what Respected APJ Abdul Kalam Sir did for this country. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir did set a benchmark for the coming President's of our nation. For the coming years it is the sole responsibility of Pranab Mukherjee to set a New Benchmark.

I don't really think I need to introduce this artist to anyone around the world. He is the best Stand-Up Comedian Artist the world has witnessed in past few years. He is Russel Peters. 

He has been doing live shows, TV acts & movies since a long time. A true comedian who just knows how to entertain his audience every time they pay to witness (1 hour min) of his laughter riot. He has done some truly hilarious live performances & recordings, "Outsourced" & "Red, White & Brown". His latest recording using 11  cameras, full HD is titled, "Russel Peters: The Green Card Tour".

What I frankly love about him is, the way he presents his shows globally. When the people watch him performing live, web or through any other media, people think he is one only mad fellow to make fun of different cultures of the world. But if you have noticed, he only talks about the cultures he is deeply familiar. He has been traveling for shows since years now. His ability to observe the audiences & remember it, his ability & wide interest in knowing various cultures to its roots is something that an artist should learn from him. He never restricts the audience by age or caste, thought he advises 'Parental Guidance Required'.

He often uses sexual context & language that an artist of his stature would prefer not to use, but that's his forte. His art is always new, fresh & innovative. "Fuck Face" a common word now, "Be a Man", another phrase used frequently by youth worldwide.

His witty, hilarious, humorous, expressive character is what every one loves. He knows he has a gifted talent & he is extremely passionate about it. He has his logo & background music made exactly according to his taste & character.

I know how tough it is for an artist to present fresh art every time. He makes it possible every freaking time. A personal request to the readers, "If you ever get a chance to watch RUSSEL PETERS Live, DO NOT Miss him for the World."

I have spent most of My childhood with You & Nani. One of the biggest reasons why My childhood's an amazing Journey is only because of You.
When I couldn't walk You use to be My Horse. My friends call me 'Hulk' & I Thank You for all those 'Ghee - Gaud - Pratha'. My sports journey started with You playing Cricket all the time with Me. All those times when You used to hold My cycle from so that I don't tumble, those moments when You made Me understand the numeric part of school life called Math are Cherished. I can describe such million memories with You but The Finest & Purest memory is, You teaching Me 'How to do Puja & Arti, Washing the Idols, Saying those Prayers' & The Naughtiest memory of Me with You is, You preparing 'Prasad' for everyone & I secretly eating all of it. Your Love, Care & Affection has been Divine for Me.

 A while ago a Great Artist left million hearts crying. He in known to be that super star who carried box office hits for 15 years with his solo performances. The First Super Star of Bollywood & the pioneer artist to Live Life King Size. He had this charm in every movie he acted, a charm that had to get your eyes on an extraordinary talent the super star had. His melodies have been in the hearts of at least 3 generations. He spoke his dialogues in such a beautiful manner, I can still visualize him speaking those dialogues in my head just by thinking of him.

I have been a huge fan of The Legend & I have seen most of his Box-Office hits; but the movie which I am closely attached to is 'Anand'. I have loved his art in the movie & specially the way he has enacted the Character. The way he believes in Living Life to the Fullest even after knowing that he only has few years to Live. I consider my self lucky to have lived in the 3rd Generation of this Mega Star. I started believing in something which he said in his film & I have tried preaching it everywhere I have been. 

" Zindagi Badi Honi Chahiye, Lambi Nahi"

My mama's name is 'Rajesh'. He was named after the first super star of Bollywood.

I will definitely miss him for all he has given to the Bollywood industry & the teachings he has given me as an artist. A true artist by nature, a good person by heart & love of millions. 

Rest in Peace, Rajesh Khanna Sir.

Walking through the rushing fast streets of Mumbai, clicking photos of things that catch my eyes. Mumbai is one city which lets me see India in all possible ways. From the rich to the poor, from the Vorli Sea Link to the worlds biggest Slum. You see India in Mumbai. The Economic Capital of the nation made me proud when I clicked the photo of the Ganpati Mural on an under construction building  some where between Ville Parle East & Juhu Gali road. The Western World of India has it's Culture & Tradition well intact in its roots. 

Message through My Lens:

The roots of Indian Culture & Tradition are rooted deep in the Youth of India, but we welcome World Cultures gracefully. 

Historic Zonal Installation ©

History was written on 1st July 2012 when District 3050 witnessed, Zone - 1 (10 clubs) get together for The First Zonal Installation. 

The Initiation, Innovation, Collaboration:

Keeping the theme of our present District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Rtr. Jatin Rawal (Vijapur); which says "Initiate, Innovate, Collaborate". The new Rotaract Year started with an Initiative taken by Rotaract  Club of Ahmedabad West to organize this First Zonal Installation which in itself was an Innovative idea by their President Rtr. Tarun Masani & his team. With the approval and support of the Zonal Rotaract Representative (ZRR) of Zone - 1, Rtr. Manasvi Thappar the dream of having a Zonal Installation became a Reality. Not to forget, the efforts put in by Rtr. Manasvi Thappar to Collaborate few members from the clubs of Zone - 1, assigning them there specific roles and supervising everything. The event was finally all set to role.

The Venue & Dignitaries: 

The event was hosted at OMG Discotheque between 3pm & 6pm. Presidents, Secretaries & Members from 9 clubs participated in this Zonal Installation. DRR Rtr. Jatin Rawal (Installation Officer) , DRRe Rtr. Sumit Gupta(Induction Officer) were also present to support and enjoy history being written live. RJ Megha of Radio Mirchi was the Chief Guest. District Governor (DG) Rtn. Ashish Desai & First Lady Rtn. Bina Desai took time out for this Zonal Installation Ceremony. 

The Main Event:

The ceremony saw the Presidents sharing their experiences of Rotaract & Events their clubs had organized under his/her tenure. Facts were spilled, few straight forward rather direct talks were done, mementos were given to the assigned dignitaries. DRR Rtr. Jatin Rawal introduced himself in his own style to the new members who had participated, than he installed the new Presidents and Secretaries, Oath was taken by these incoming Presidents & Secretaries. DRRe Rtr. Sumit Gupta too introduced himself to the new members of the Rotaract family, shared his opinions & took lesser time in his speech than usually DRRe takes. Rtr. Ayaz from Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West Blind entertained the audience with his singing. Later, DG Rtn. Ashish Desai talked about his views about Rotaract, how it helps growing at personal level & his main point "ENJOY ROTARACT". The chief guest RJ Megha managed to reach the venue a bit late due to some reasons. She's an RJ & she proved it right by talking n talking. The best part in her talk was when she mentioned about her interviews with superstars of bollywood and her hatred towards Akshay Kumar because he asked the Mirchi team to tell Megha to address him as Sir. She made the talk more interesting when she started with interacting with the audience, she wanted us [read: audience] to ask her questions & she would answer to her best knowledge. She did answer well to a few questions asked to her. ZRR Rtr. Manasvi Thappar concluded with thanking everyone who had helped make this event a reality even in the minutest way possible. Appreciate Manasvi for thanking Me. The ceremony came to an end with the National Anthem. 

The After Party: 

A beautiful cake which marked the beginning of the new Rotaract Year & the closing of a very successful First Zonal installation. DRR Rtr. Jatin Rawal cut the cake & it was cherished by everyone. 

Fellowship increased between the participating members with the food giving the best support. The flash hit the eyes as photos were clicked between the groups, new friends. 

The Result: 

A super successful ceremony was witnessed where in every Rotaractor present thought, "History should repeat itself every new year".
